1. Connect the router to the modem and power it on. 2. Access the router's interface using a web browser or command line interface (CLI). 3. Set the administrator password and update the firmware. 4. Configure the WAN (internet) and LAN (local) interfaces with the appropriate IP addresses 5. Set up DHCP and DNS as necessary. 6. Configure routing, either static or dynamic, if required. 7. If using wireless, set up the wireless SSID and password. 8. Save the configuration and verify the connectivity. Connect router to the modem and power on.
